Bio

Coach Angelo Foster continues with the Pride for his third season as the Varsity Wide Receivers Coach.Originally from Newburgh, New York, A 2016 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, Foster was named Senior Male Athlete of the Year. Winning Back to Back Section Titles with a Football State Championship Appearance where he was nicknamed “The Flash”. Foster was the record holder for the Men’s 55M High Hurdles eclipsing his Dad’s (Orlando Rodriguez, Dean of Students at MPHS) 20 year record. Angelo is a Cortland State Graduate with a BA in New Communications and Computer Science. He was a 3-Year Starter for the Red Dragons earning All-Region and All-American Honors.Foster served as the Student Government Vice President and Student Athlete Advisory Committee in 2019-2020. Following graduation, Foster signed a 2 Year Contract with the Edmonton Elks of the CFL. With his 4.36 speed and savvy route running Foster earned a mini-camp invitation with the Arizona Cardinals in 2021. Angelo has coached and mentored youth since 2014 with a myriad of organizations in New York and Arizona. He brings a hands-on approach to the game of football and is passionate about building up young people on and off the field. Foster is married to his college sweetheart, Angelica Foster and currently resides in Chandler with their dogs Astro and Asach
