Byron Marshal

Bio

Born and raised in San Jose, California, Coach Byron Marshall grew up playing three sports before ultimately gravitating toward football. His success on the field earned him recognition as an Army All-American in high school.

Marshall went on to play college football at the University of Oregon, where he contributed as both a running back and receiver. He made history as the only player in school history to rush for more than 1,000 yards in one season and then follow it up with more than 1,000 receiving yards the following year.

After college, Marshall enjoyed a four-year NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Buffalo Bills, and Baltimore Ravens.

Now in his second year of coaching and his first season with Mountain Pointe, Coach Marshall is excited to share his experience and knowledge with the next generation of athletes. His goal is to help Mountain Pointe's young men develop on and off the field and, hopefully, give them the opportunity to reach the same level of success he did.
