Phillip Odell

Bio

Coach Phillip Odell is entering his first season at Mountain Pointe as the Varsity Tight Ends/Wide Receivers Coach. A former Safety and Wide Receiver at Red Mountain High School from 1997–1998, Coach Odell brings both playing and coaching experience to the program. He previously served as the JV Softball Head Coach at Chandler High School for two seasons from 2023–2025. Coach Odell currently serves in the U.S. Army, where he has 25 years of experience in leadership and development. He lives in Mesa with his two children, Kaley, 21, and Nicholas, 19.
